Oh, no. What time slot? My chem-major buddy has the infamous 5 to 8 lab and says it is just the most miserable thing.
Mine is in fact worse: I TA a lab that runs from 6 PM to 10 PM. (I also have another section tomorrow that runs from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.) It is exhausting. TAing also means that I’m on my feet and walking around almost the entire time; I don’t really have the option of sitting like my students do because I’m checking on them and answering questions or trying to evaluate students for their lab performance grades the entire time. By the time I manage to limp home I’m usually completely drained.
