Weirdly enough, when I was going to the Atlanta meetups at 19 I was by far the youngest person there—as I recall most people were somewhere in their mid twenties to thirties, and when I started going I was the only person under 21.
I don’t actually have anything to add to the discussion linked here, which is really awesome to listen to as someone who is only 21 right now, but I thought the point about ageism in offline meetup groups was interesting. I guess I’d just been assuming that most ace meetup groups that weren’t actually attached to colleges skewed at similar ages to the one I went to.
