Tony Stark does not improve with repeated viewings.
He is better than he is in Iron Man 2.
Then again, I cannot watch Iron Man 2 without an enraged running commentary at how godawful disrespectful and generally terrible he is to everyone, so that is not actually saying much, but I like him a lot more in the Avengers than I did in that.
